Stay True to You

One of the most important lessons I've learned, or maybe I should say, still learning, in this lifetime, has been to stay true to myself.

To do what "feels" right for me. Not just in the decision making moment, but in the long run.

Not exactly easy, since I was trained to be a "people pleaser", and to keep everyone else happy at all costs.

Since I've been studying the Law of Attraction I have come to realize even more, just how important it is to do what "feels" right.

After all, one of the keys to easily manifesting what we desire, is to practice feeling good now, because whatever we are feeling, is what we are vibrating and attracting to ourselves.

What feels right to me, may not feel right for you, and vice versa. Only we can know what feels good to us.

I've also learned to stay true to myself, and what feels good for me, in my business.  This sometimes means going against what the "experts" advise.

Back in the 90's most of the experts in this business, advised getting rid of back issues and devoting the majority of floor space to new issues. That didn't feel good to me. I love back issues. I started my business with the idea of being a shop that had plenty of back issues.

So, even though in the moment, it appeared I was going against the grain, I really stayed true to myself. When sales of new issues dropped drastically, nationwide, thousands of shops went out of business but since I had stayed true to what felt good to me, my back issue sales kept my business going.

When I set my intention for a new sign, I could've had one sooner if I'd gone against what felt good, instead I got the sign I wanted, free.

If you want to manifest your lucky life, Stay true to you. Do what feels good, for you. Even though sometimes that may feel like you're missing out on something good now, in the long run, I believe you'll be glad you did.

Until next time, here's to your Lucky Life!

Can we Revise for Others?

“If you really believe me you will not pass anyone without doing something to lift his burden. Taking up his cross, you will represent him to yourself as you would like to see him; and to the degree that you are self-persuaded, he will become it, even though he may never know what you did.”
Neville Goddard

Neville believed we could revise for others.

It does sound kind of woo woo and hokey, and believing we can change things for someone else sounds like a contradiction to our belief that we create our own reality.  That we are the power in our world.

But, what if, as Neville says, "everyone is yourself pushed out, so when you imagine, you are influencing yourself"?

Then it doesn't matter whether we are imagining for ourselves, or for someone else, it is still ourselves that we are influencing.

I love Neville's revision technique and have been using it regularly, and I've written previously about a few of my results.

Increase Your Luck with Revision, Does Revision Work?Do You Hear What I Hear?

I personally like the thought that my imaginal acts can influence another, and a few months ago I had an opportunity to give revising for another a try.

A few months back my daughter was in the process of selling her home and buying a new one.  The plan was to close on her old house, and sign the papers on her new one within a day or so.

Everything was going according to plan, her house sold, and then suddenly the closing on her new house was delayed. Because of the delay, she had to find somewhere to stay, the movers were booked up and couldn't be rescheduled, and nowhere to put her belongings.

Thankfully, the guy at the mortgage company said he'd take care of it, at his expense, and hired some movers that came, loaded up her stuff and stored it until she could move into her new home. So, it all worked out.

Then suddenly, a few months later, my daughter called me, totally upset, telling me the moving company called, demanding payment immediately and threatening to sue.  Seems the guy who had promised to take care of it, had changed his mind when he saw the bill and had refused to pay.

After several days of angry calls between all parties involved, I decided to try revision

I decided to go straight to the end result, and instead of hearing my daughter say, "he's still refusing to pay", I imagined instead, hearing her say, "He paid the bill!!!".

So, every time the subject came up, I just kept imagining I was hearing what I wanted to hear. "He paid the bill!"

Suddenly, a week or so later, I was walking down the street when I received a text message from my daughter that said, "He paid the bill!!!" Exactly as I had imagined.

Do I believe we can we revise for others? Yes.

Until next time,

Stop Making Resolutions!

At this time of year, there's always a lot of talk about making resolutions.

Since learning more about our power to deliberately create our lives, and the law of attraction, instead of making resolutions, I set my intention.

Our intentions are very powerful and I have found that when we deliberately set our intention, it can pave the way for what appears to be a miraculous, effortless, easy manifestation.

Setting your intention starts with knowing what you want. This means getting really clear about the outcome, the end result. Deciding exactly how you want it to look and feel, your ultimate outcome or goal.

We intend many things every day, and we make choices that support those intentions whether we are aware of what we are intending or not.

Not being aware of our intentions can pave the way for loss and failure to achieve our true heart's desires.

A few years ago, a friend of mine spent all of her savings and went deeply into debt, to start a business. When she told me her plan, I asked what her intentions were. Her reply was, "I want to be able to say, I tried".

I knew right then her business was doomed to failure.  Her intentions were not to succeed, but to be able to say to herself, I tried.

Even though her business idea was a great one, and something she enjoyed doing, I was not surprised when she closed her business in less than six months.

What is it that you really want to BE, DO, or HAVE?

How do you want it to look and ultimately FEEL?

Set your intention for that. Write it down, imagine it, and make choices each day that support that intention.

Do you want to say "I tried" or do you truly want to succeed and feel successful? Set your intentions.

Intend to succeed, intend for it to be easy, joyful, fun, or however you choose for it to be. It is your choice.

You can set intentions for today, this week, this month, this year, or for whenever you desire. It's your choice.

As you go through your day, remind yourself of your intentions, of your desired goal or outcome.

Use these Law of Attraction tools to support your intentions.

Want to Increase Your Luck this year? Why not, stop making resolutions and start setting your intentions! (Unless, of course, making resolutions makes you feel really, really good).
