All the world is a stage.

"The discipline of writing something down is the first step toward making it happen."   Lee Iacocca

Can we really write something down and make it happen?

Just about every book I've ever read about being successful says one of the most important things you can do is write down your goals.

I've even read that only the top 3%, do it.

I can imagine that you are thinking, if it were that easy, wouldn't we all be doing it?

Well here's my experience.

For years, I did this without ever really being aware it was a great tool.  I thought I was just making lists of things I needed to get done, or wanted to do.  Mine were not really what I would call lofty goals at the time, just things like paint the porch, get some new windows, new pair of sunglasses, plant some flowers, etc.  Strangely enough, months or years later I would come across one of these "lists" and realize all of it had happened.  Totally unaware of the power we have to author our lives.

William Shakespeare wrote, "All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players."

Just like an author writes the script for the movie or stage play, we can use the power of writing to bring our desires into reality.

I first really became aware of the true power of this just last year.

I had an annual, one day event in my business that I wanted to be really successful and as I was talking it over with my coach, she suggested that I script it.

Scripting is what this tool or process is called in law of attraction terms.

So that very day, several months before the day of the event, I scripted it all out.

I wrote down in every detail exactly what I wanted to happen, how I wanted it to look, and how I wanted it to feel.

I wrote down everything from the weather, (the sky was a gorgeous blue, the sun was shining, and there was a mild breeze), to what I was wearing, (my favorite shirt).  I wrote down how much publicity I received, how favorable and positive it all was, how many customers I wanted to show up, and how much I wanted my sales to be.

I wrote out how I wanted to feel, (I woke up feeling refreshed, after a great night's sleep, that it was an exciting and fun day for everyone involved, and I felt so prosperous and successful).

And here is the key.  I wrote it all out as if it had already happened

That's right, I wrote it all as if it had already happened, and I was just remembering and recounting the events of the day, just like it was the truth.

Guess what? It happened.

When the big day came the weather was exactly as I had written it even though the forecast had predicted rain all week.  The customers were lined up waiting to get in, just as I had written.  I had news coverage in every paper and on every tv news station.  It was a record breaking day and I certainly went home feeling prosperous and successful.

Did I make it happen by writing it down?  I actually believe writing it down allows it to happen.

As I am writing it down, I am identifying in detail, exactly what I want, how I want it to look, and how I want it to feel.  I am activating the vibration of what I want.  I am energetically aligning with the reality of my desire. And this, I believe, allows the Universe to bring it about.

Love and Luck,
Lucky Lady
