Assume the Feeling

This week's manifesting story was a reminder to me, that if we stay in the "state of the wish fulfilled" as Neville calls it, what we desire will show up, but not necessarily from where we expect it to.

While out and about last weekend, I ran into a customer, who mentioned he had several hundred dollars he was coming in to spend on Monday.*

On several previous occasions this guy has mentioned he was coming to spend certain amounts, on certain days, and has always shown up, so I assumed it was a done deal.

I immediately thought about how good that would feel to start the week off with several hundred dollars in extra sales. In other words, I assumed the feeling.

It actually felt so good knowing I had extra money coming in, that I decided to go ahead and mail out some extra payments on the bills, and that felt even better.

Monday is usually a fairly busy day at the shop, but this one started off rather slowly.  In fact, by 3:30 in the afternoon, with just 90 more minutes before closing, I had only had two sales and they were unusually small.

I didn't let it bother me one iota, after all, I was expecting a large sale today, from you know who, so I went on about my work feeling good, feeling prosperous, and handing the postman my extra payments.

When suddenly another customer walks in and spends a couple hundred dollars.  Then, a total stranger came to my shop for the first time, from about 50 miles away, and he purchased several hundred dollars worth and I stayed busy until closing time with customers.

After closing and totaling up the day's sales, I realized I had indeed started the week off with several hundred extra dollars in sales and it felt just as good as I had imagined, but it hadn't come from the customer I expected it to.

Which was indeed a reminder that when we go to the end, and stay in the feeling of the wish fulfilled, it will manifest.

I was feeling good all weekend and then all day Monday, knowing I had several hundred extra dollars coming in, and it did!

It didn't come from where I thought it would come, but it came.

So, until next time, assume the feeling of the wish fulfilled, assume that it's a done deal, and it will be.
