Increase Your Luck by Taking Action

As a Law of Attraction student and coach, I always recommend getting vibrationally lined up with your desire first. 

This can be done by getting clear about what you want, imagining and scripting your desire. Speaking, writing, or hearing, your affirmations, acting "as if", and most importantly, feeling the way you want to feel, or expect to feel when you have your desire, right now.

However, after getting into vibrational alignment, if you really want to increase your luck, start taking action.

I can visualize all day long about being a great drummer, but at some point I have to pick up the sticks and start playing.

I can script about how awesome sales and profits were last month at my retail shop, but I have to show up, be open for business, and buy and sell the goods. (Or at the very least arrange for someone to do it.)

Getting into vibrational alignment first, can make taking action much easier. One of the outcomes of vibrational alignment is feeling inspired, or suddenly knowing what action to take.

Taking action, even inspired action, is not always easy.  It can bring up all of our fears and self doubts, but take action anyway.

When I felt inspired to write, it was scary. I had never written anything for anyone else to read, ever, but I had to pick up the pen, and start writing, and move through the self doubt.

When I needed a ride and an Angel showed up to give me one, it was a miraculous manifestation, but I wasn't just sitting in my home imagining myself riding to my shop, I was on the street walking in that direction, and asking for one. I was taking action.

When I decided I wanted to take some trips, I felt inspired, and started entering sweepstakes.  People say I'm just lucky, but what I really did was align with my desire, and take action.

When we start taking action, it shows we are committed, it says to the Universe  that we are open and ready for our desire to show up. 

Knowing what you want and getting into alignment with it is the first step, but if you really want to increase your luck, start taking action.

Start Your Day the Lucky Way!

If you desire to increase the "lucky" experiences and events in your life and live your own version of a lucky life, it is important to start each day feeling good.
 
The way we start our day can set the tone, mood, or vibration of the entire day.

Here is something I keep beside my bed, and each morning when I wake up, I read it, and since I live by myself, I can read it out loud.  I call it start your day the lucky way.

"Today is a new day.  Today is a lucky new day for me.

Who knows what wonderful, amazing, lucky experiences and events can happen in my life today.

I wonder what lucky opportunities and possibilities are opening up for me today?

Who knows what amazing, delightful, wonderful, and miraculous things and events are happening to me, and for me, today.

Sometimes I think I know what will happen today, but what if, today is the day?

What if today is the turning point in my life?

What if, today turns out better than I could ever imagine?

What if, today truly is a lucky day?

What if, today is the best day of my life so far?  

Do I want that? Am I willing to allow that possibility? Am I willing to receive and have that?

What would that feel like today? Happy and fun? Rich and Prosperous? Vibrant and healthy? Full of energy and enthusiasm? Exciting and thrilling? Rested and refreshed? Joyful and carefree? Safe and secure? Loved, supported, and adored? Easy, peaceful, and serene?

I'm excited just thinking about it.  I am ready to have an amazing, awesome, spectacular, lucky day, today.

I am ready for something wonderful to happen in my life, today.

I invite something amazing and wonderful to happen in my life, today. I invite synchronicity.

I invite miracles to happen in my life, today.

Something wonderful is happening to me and for me, today.  I can feel it. It's unfolding.  It's in the works.  It's on the way to me now.  I feel the vibration of it, the joy of it, the ease of it.

The Universe is opening new doors for me, today.

Something wonderful is happening to me and for me.  I can feel it.

Today is my lucky day.  I am lucky right now.  I am receiving miracles in my life, today.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Universe, for all the amazing, delightful, wonderful, miraculous, lucky, experiences and events, that are happening to me, and for me, today.

I love it!  I love life!  I love my lucky life!

Pennies From Heaven?

"See a Penny pick it up all day long you'll have good luck"

When you see a penny on the ground do you pick it up?

I do!

I must confess, I am a runner.  That's right, I love to run. Running is like my morning meditation. I get lots of ideas and feel totally energized after running. Whenever I am running, or walking for that matter, if I see a penny I always pick it up and think "today's a lucky day".

One morning in August a few years ago...while out running I look down and see a penny so I stop to pick it up.  I look over and there is another penny, and another, and another, so I pick up a handful of pennies thinking "wow, this is a lucky day" and  I take off running again.

Before I get too far, I look down and there is another penny. I pick it up, take off running, and once again I look down and you guessed it, another penny.  By this time my pockets are starting to really jingle as I run so I look around for something to put all these pennies in.  I find an empty taco bell bag, put my handful of pennies in it, stash it behind a bush and take off running.

Again, I'm running a couple minutes, look down and there is another penny.  I know this sounds crazy!  I run three miles and the whole time I am stopping to pick up pennies.

When I finish my three miles, I go back to where I stashed the taco bell bag, put all the pennies in it and try to carry it while running back to my apartment.

When I got home I showed the bulging bag of pennies to my daughter and said look what I found!
I found 534 pennies, a few nickels, dimes, and a quarter for a total of $6.04. Wow! What a lucky day!

Prepare to Receive!

How many times do you wish and want for something but don't really expect to get it? 

If you are like most people the answer is every day.

Today is your lucky day!  I am going to share one of my lucky secrets with you.  Are you ready?
It's really very simple...

ASK, then PREPARE TO RECEIVE.



I have a client (his name is Rob), who had to move in a hurry last year because his apartment building was sold and he was given thirty days notice.  Not much time to find an apartment and in his case even harder since Rob is in a wheelchair and doesn't drive.  So Rob took an apartment across the street but wasn't happy with it.  So all year he has complained about his small apartment, looking out his window at a brick wall, etc.

He began looking at other apartments and started saving money toward moving each month.  He even took a class on buying and owning your own home just in case he found one he could buy.  He was feeling a little discouraged because it's been almost a year.

Three weeks ago Rob rolls in and tells me he will be a little late coming by the next morning because he's going to look at yet another apartment.  The next day he shows up totally excited.  He had found an apartment he really loved, had all the room he wanted, in a great location. He said that even though rent was a bit higher than before he could swing it and he asked the landlord if he could rent it. The landlord said he would consider his application and let him know in a few weeks. Then Rob said, "I want this apartment!  I am going home to pack! Do you have any empty boxes?" and I gave him all my empty boxes.

It's now three weeks later and guess what?  He's already moved in and enjoying his new place.

LUCKY SECRET FOR MANIFESTING YOUR DESIRE...

First, know what you want. (Rob wanted a new apartment)

Take action. (Rob went out all year looking at apartments, saved money each month for the move, etc.)

Ask. (Rob asked for his apartment)

Prepare to Receive. (Rob went home and packed as if it were a done deal!)

So what have you been wanting? Today can be your lucky day!
