Does Revision work?

One of my favorite manifesting tools is Neville Goddard's Revision technique.

"The circle can be broken by starting now to revise anything that you no longer wish to sustain in your world. By revising the past, you rid yourself of any effect it may have on your future."
Neville Goddard

I love revision and I use it regularly. It works!

I've written about it before but today I feel inspired to share with you how I recently used revision to heal my arm.

Neville's definition of revision says,

"To revise the past is to re-construct it with new content. Man should daily relive the day as he wished he had lived it, revising the scenes to make them conform to his ideals. For instance, suppose today's mail brought disappointing news.  Revise the letter.  Mentally rewrite it and make it conform to the news you wish you had received.  Then, in imagination, read the revised letter over and over again and this will arouse the feeling of naturalness; and imaginal acts become facts as soon as we feel natural in the act. This is the essence of revision and revision results in repeal."
A couple of months ago, I went to have some blood work done.  I do this annually, and previously it had always been quick and painless. So much so, that I always told the nurse, "wow, you're good! I didn't feel a thing".

This time was different.  Even though it was the same lady as always, when she stuck the needle in my arm, an intense pain shot all the way down into my hand and hurt so badly, I moaned in pain the whole time.

A week later my arm was still hurting so badly, I could hardly stand the pain or use my right arm. Instead of improving, it was getting worse.

I actually went online looking for a solution and everything I read was negative.

It seems she must have hit a nerve and everyone was saying this would take months to heal, if it ever did. Some had even written that they had to contact an attorney and sue.

Oh no! Not what I wanted at all!

That night I decided to try revision to heal my arm.

Here's what I did.

I lay down on my bed and remembered the incident as clearly as I could, sitting in the chair, all the pain when the nurse inserted the needle, etc.  Then, in my mind, I pretended to be standing in the room and watching it all happen.  As I did this, I shrunk the image down to the size of a grain of salt and then I stepped on it. (This is not part of Neville's technique, but sort of my own NLP).

After that, I revised the whole visit, from the time I arrived, sat down in the chair, the nurse inserted the needle, and I got up to leave.

Only this time, I remembered it just like it had happened all the previous times, and I heard myself saying, "Wow, you're good!  I didn't feel a thing.".

I replayed the revised memory of this visit in my mind several times before falling asleep.

The next morning when I woke up, the pain in my arm was gone. I was thrilled. When I used my arm I could still feel some pain but I decided to ignore the facts and just kept hearing myself tell the nurse, "I didn't feel a thing".

Within a few days, all of the pain was gone and my arm is totally healed.

Revision works! All it takes is your imagination

Have a revision story of your own?  I'd love to hear it.

Until next time,
