What's Pleasing You?

Since I have been making it my daily habit to 'Play at Feeling Good', I keep finding more ways to activate those 'feel good now', feelings.

Isn't that exactly the way law of attraction works? We are always attracting more of whatever we are giving our attention to.

This past week,  I have had a lot of fun shifting my vibration by asking myself, what's pleasing me about this?

Anytime, I became aware of something I wasn't feeling very happy about, I made it a game to find all the ways I was pleased about it.

One example is my body.  When I stepped on the scale, I began feeling upset that I hadn't lost more weight.

So, I began playing the game:
  • I am extremely pleased that my body is healthy
  • I am also very pleased that my Sweetie thinks my body is perfect
  • I am so pleased that my blood pressure is perfect
  • I am pleased with the way my hair grows, and so healthy too
  • I am pleased with the color of my eyes and my vision
  • I am pleased with how strong and flexible my body is
  • I am pleased that my body loves to run
  • I am pleased with the way my nails grow
Before long, I was feeling really pleased with my body. In fact, so much so, it didn't really matter if I lost any more weight or not.

I decided to try it with my income and my business.
  • I am pleased that I run my own business
  • I am pleased that I consistently bring in income every week
  • I am pleased that all my bills are paid for this week
  • I am pleased to have so many customers and clients from all around the world!
  • I am pleased that I have money in my account
  • I am actually really pleased with my business
By the end of the week, I was adding that I was extremely pleased to have had my biggest sales week since last October.

It's all about finding a why to feel good, right now, about whatever is.

Is there a subject or situation that doesn't feel good? Make it a game!

What's pleasing you?

Start looking for all the things that are pleasing you and it won't be long before you'll find that your vibration has shifted.

Until next time,

Go Straight To Happy!

That's right, don't worry about getting the job, losing the weight, or finding your true love or perfect home.

Why not go straight to happy?  After all, the reasons why we want the job, the shapely figure, the lover, the new home, or whatever it is that we want, is really because we think we will be happy when we get it. Right?

You may say, like me, what I really want is to feel financially free, or secure. Maybe it's your desire to feel attractive, sexy, and confidant.  To feel like you're home, comfortable, and safe.

What then? Happy!  The ultimate end result we are seeking, is HAPPY.

So, I say, go straight to happy.  Don't worry about trying to manifest the things you want, just relax, and take some time, activating and shifting into feeling happy now.

The secret is, if we can activate the feeling of being happy now, which is our end result,  then that's what we will be vibrating and attracting to us.  The Universe will begin delivering all kinds of experiences and things that make us HAPPY.

Here are some ways to feel happy now:
  • Going for a run or taking a walk
  • Flowers! Makes me feel happy looking at them and/or growing them
  • Baking - Breads, cookies, brownies, pies, casseroles, I love baking.
  • Playing a musical instrument
  • Listening to music (Christmas music does it for me!)
  • Meditating or listening to a guided meditation
  • Reading a good book
  • Playing with kids, your own or someone else's
  • Playing with your pets
  • Laughing with your best friend about all the good times
  • Curling up in bed and watching a funny movie or show
  • Going for a nature hike or scenic drive
  • Playing board games with friends
  • Getting a massage or reiki
  • Writing in your gratitude journal
Whatever it is that makes you feel happy now, now is the time to do it.

The Universe doesn't care what causes us to activate or vibrate a particular feeling. It's job is just to respond to that vibration with more of the same.

When we are feeling happy, we are no longer in resistance. We are in what Abraham calls the state of allowing, of alignment, which allows what we have been asking for, our desires, to come to us, to manifest.

So I say, why not go to the end result?  Go straight to HAPPY!

Until next time,

Play at Feeling Good!

Have you been working really hard at manifesting your desires and nothing seems to be happening?

It happened to me.  A couple of weeks ago, I found myself whining to my coach, "I am so tired! I have been working really hard at manifesting my goals, and nothing is happening! In fact, everything seems to be getting worse."

My coach gently reminded me that it is not my job to work hard at manifesting my goals.  My only "job" if you want to call it a job, is to find ways to feel good now. Duh!  I knew that. I am a law of attraction certified coach. I had just gotten so attached to my goals, and was so busy working at it that I'd forgotten.

Right then and there, I shifted.  I went from feeling like I was pushing the boulder uphill every day, to laughing about my memory lapse.

I decided to make my motto:

I am playing at feeling good and letting the Universe do it's job.

What a relief! I felt better instantly.  I wrote it out on a note card as a reminder.

Then, I began playing at feeling good.  If visualizing or imagining felt good, I did it.  I only used any of the manifesting tools if it made me feel good, right now. I found myself playing with some of the processes in "Ask and It is Given". I  found myself flowing lots of appreciation just because it felt so good.

Within 48 hours delightful manifestations started showing up:
  •  I had the most profitable Saturday at my shop in over five months.
  •  I received a phone call that a $71 medical bill was being written off.
  • A man came into my shop and handed me a $50 bill and said he wanted to repay me for some merchandise he had stolen as a kid over twenty years ago.
  • I found $47 lying on the sidewalk.
  • Received a $2 bill in a St. Patrick's Day card.
And so it goes.  The more we deliberately choose to feel good now, the more we align with the magical manifestations the Universe has lined up for us.

After all, the reason we desire something is because we believe we will feel good when we get it.

The Universe is always responding to our current vibration. So, if we can find a way to feel now the way we think we will feel then, we become vibrationally aligned with our desires. We allow the Universe to manifest them.

Until next time,

Stay True to You

One of the most important lessons I've learned, or maybe I should say, still learning, in this lifetime, has been to stay true to myself.

To do what "feels" right for me. Not just in the decision making moment, but in the long run.

Not exactly easy, since I was trained to be a "people pleaser", and to keep everyone else happy at all costs.

Since I've been studying the Law of Attraction I have come to realize even more, just how important it is to do what "feels" right.

After all, one of the keys to easily manifesting what we desire, is to practice feeling good now, because whatever we are feeling, is what we are vibrating and attracting to ourselves.

What feels right to me, may not feel right for you, and vice versa. Only we can know what feels good to us.

I've also learned to stay true to myself, and what feels good for me, in my business.  This sometimes means going against what the "experts" advise.

Back in the 90's most of the experts in this business, advised getting rid of back issues and devoting the majority of floor space to new issues. That didn't feel good to me. I love back issues. I started my business with the idea of being a shop that had plenty of back issues.

So, even though in the moment, it appeared I was going against the grain, I really stayed true to myself. When sales of new issues dropped drastically, nationwide, thousands of shops went out of business but since I had stayed true to what felt good to me, my back issue sales kept my business going.

When I set my intention for a new sign, I could've had one sooner if I'd gone against what felt good, instead I got the sign I wanted, free.

If you want to manifest your lucky life, Stay true to you. Do what feels good, for you. Even though sometimes that may feel like you're missing out on something good now, in the long run, I believe you'll be glad you did.

Until next time, here's to your Lucky Life!

Just for the Fun of it

How long has it been since you did something just for the fun of it?

This morning as I was out for my morning run, I ran past a little boy, I would say he was about 3 years old, running as fast as he could and laughing all the way.  He was simply running for the fun of it.

It made me smile and started me thinking.

He wasn't running away from someone nor was he running after someone.  He wasn't chasing anything, and I'm sure he wasn't running to get into shape, or lose some weight.  He was simply running for the fun of it, and having a blast.

I started running over fifteen years ago because I wanted to get into shape but I soon fell in love with running and now I run for the fun of it.  It just makes me feel good to go for a run.

As I ran, I began to wonder.

How many things do we do, simply for the fun of it?  How often do we put off having fun until sometime in the future?  Until someone else can join us?  Until we have the money? Until everything is just right?

Everything I have read, studied, and learned about the Law of Attraction, manifesting our desires, and increasing our luck, says we need to make time to have fun now

We need to do what makes us feel good now. Whatever we are vibrating, is what we are attracting more of. I don't know about you, but I'll take more fun.

So whatever it is that's fun for you, whether it's running or simply relaxing on the porch swing, I highly recommend taking time to do it now, just for the fun of it.

Until next time, here's to your fun, lucky life!

Increase Your Luck by Doing things you Love

You may have noticed I talk a lot about finding ways to increase your luck and finding ways to feel good now, and one of the easiest ways we can do both is spending some time each day doing things we love and enjoy doing.

We can get so caught up in our every day routine, taking care of the kids, our pets, going to work, etc., that most of us don't actually do very much each day that we really enjoy doing. This can have the opposite effect and leave us feeling tired, cranky, stressed, unfulfilled, and unhappy.  Definitely not living what I call a Lucky Life.

When you are doing something you love or enjoy, it makes you feel good now.  You aren't busy worrying about the future or fretting over the past. You are in the present. You are simply feeling good, now.

The other day I was given a "create your ideal day" session from a fellow coach and before doing the session I decided to make a list of at least 50 things I love and enjoy doing. Things I would do on my ideal day.

As I began making my list, I realized a lot of the things that made me the happiest, didn't cost anything or depend on anyone else's participation. As a matter of fact, I was already being and doing things that made me happy every day. There were things on my list that could be done in just a few minutes, others took more time and planning.

Some of the things on my list were:
  • Watching a Sunrise or Sunset
  • Running
  • Reading
  • Scrapbooking
  • Listening to music (particularly Christmas music)
  • Sitting in the sand at the beach
  • Being with my Sweetie
  • Traveling
  • Being my own boss
  • Going to concerts
  • Looking at vintage magazines and catalogs
  • Spending time with my daughter
  • Riding my bicycle
  • Watching old movies
  • Baking
  • Playing the drums
  • Enjoying a hot cup of tea or coffee
  • Browsing antique shops
  • Anything to do with Law of Attraction and our power to create.
Just to name a few.

I noticed that while I was making the list that just thinking about the things I loved and enjoyed doing, and imagining myself doing them, felt good.  It reminded me that I am lucky, I do lead a lucky life now, and it's up to me to imagine it, choose it, and intend it.

Want to Increase Your Luck and feel good now? I highly recommend taking a few minutes to create your own list of things you love and enjoy doing. Imagine it.  What would you be doing if you were already living your own lucky life. Then DO THEM. Begin living and being now as if it were already true and if you persist, it will be. Next thing you know they'll be calling you Lucky.

Until next time,

Here's to your Lucky Life,

White Christmas and a Lucky Life

While watching one of my favorite holiday movies, White Christmas, a couple weeks ago, I realized just how many law of attraction secrets, and secrets for a lucky life were in it, so I thought I would share them with you.
The film starts off with Phil (Danny Kaye), and Bob (Bing Crosby), practicing one of the biggest law of attraction secrets there is, finding a way to feel good now by singing, dancing, and entertaining their fellow army soldiers right in the middle of a war.

Phil, asking for what he wants when he asks Bob to perform the song he's written in his act, and to let him be the other half of the duo.

Phil, knowing what he wants when he is asking Bob to get married, have 9 kids, and spend 5 minutes with each one so he could have 45 minutes all to himself.

Bob, having the belief, faith, and the expectation, that the right girl will come along someday.
Judy (Vera Ellen), also knows what she wants and asks for it when she writes Bob asking him to come see the show.
Bob's advice to Judy about the show is to "keep plugging away at it", in other words, stay committed and do all you can do.

Bob takes inspired action, and gives freely with no strings attached, when he brings his whole act to the inn, and then again when he invites his fellow army buddies to come and spend Christmas at the inn to surprise and support their former General.

Bob practicing gratitude when he tells Betty (Rosemary Clooney), to "count your blessings instead of sheep".
In my opinion, the whole movie is about feeling good now. Singing, dancing, and taking inspired action, and if you've seen the movie you know they get exactly what they desire.

Wishing you and yours a very happy holiday, and a lucky life.

Until next time.

Love and Luck,
Lucky Lady

Following My Bliss

I believe it was Joseph Campbell who said, "Follow your bliss".

As a Law of Attraction coach, I call it finding a way to feel good now.

Well today's post is about how I followed my bliss and practiced feeling good now.

I usually like to write my blog posts on Sunday as soon as possible.

My shop is closed on Sundays and that's the day I do all the things I need to do around the house, but first I like to get my weekly blog post written.

One Sunday a few weeks back, as I was out for my morning run, I realized it was going to be a beautiful day.

I thought about how much fun it would be to just call up my Sweetie and head out for a leisurely hike and enjoy the sunshine and blue skies. I spend a lot of time indoors, running my shop, and since winter is on the way, the thought of spending the whole day outdoors in the sunshine felt like bliss to me.

The more I thought about it, the more tempting it became.

I had a brief moment of indecision when I thought about my blog, and my housework, and wondered when I would be able to find the time to sit down and write something, especially since I still had no clue what I would write about and I always like to write something that feels inspired.

I decided to practice what I teach, and that is, to do what feels good now, go out and play, and trust it would all work out.

So I called up my Sweetie and he said he would pack us a lunch and come by and pick me up within the hour. (By the way, my Sweetie makes awesome sandwiches, too).

We headed out to a nearby lake, stopped for a cup of coffee, ate our lunch, went for a hike, and sat on a log in the woods enjoying the sunshine. It was such a beautiful day.

When I got back home later that evening, I still had no clue what I was going to write.

I turned on my laptop and picked up a notebook laying beside it and when I opened it up, there was a whole blog post, title and all, in my handwriting, that I had no recollection of ever writing.

I read it and thought, I love this, this is the perfect thing to write, when did I write this? Did it magically appear? I have no clue, but it definitely felt inspired. I easily typed it up and scheduled it to post.

How's that for following your bliss?

Find ways to follow your bliss, to feel good now.  Trust me, you'll be glad you did, and expect good things to happen.

Until next time.

Love and Luck.

Have Fun Celebrating the Closeness of the Match.

For the past couple of weeks I've been having a lot of fun celebrating the closeness of the match.

If you are new to using the Law of Attraction and Deliberate Creation, you may not have used this process before so I will explain.

As soon as you decide on what it is you want, and begin giving that attention, the Law of Attraction immediately begins to respond.

What shows up, sometimes almost instantaniously, may not be exactly what you had in mind but similar.

When you can look at what has shown up, and find all the ways in which it is like the thing you desire, and appreciate that, celebrate that, acknowledge that the Universe is bringing it about, that is celebrating the closeness of the match.

Here's my story...

Back in the winter the transmission in my beloved Honda decided 274,000 and some odd miles was enough.  It stopped engaging 2nd gear.  In the midst of contrast, (what we don't want), we get clarity, (what we do want).  I decided I wanted my transmission fixed (about $2800.), and I wanted a new auto.

I started aligning with my desire by engaging several processes like scripting, affirmations, and visualizations. Within a few weeks, without asking, someone gave me a gift of $1,000. to go towards getting my car fixed. I began celebrating, giving thanks, and kept driving and aligning.

About three weeks ago when I finally had to park it, I decided to see that as a sign that my car was getting fixed, (and paid for), and my new auto, were getting closer.

So I hitched rides, to and from my shop, borrowed my Sweetie's car, and I kept focusing on the end results.

On the fifth day as my Sweetie was dropping me off, I received a phone call from my nephew, totally out of the blue, offering me his car for the next 11 days as he was going on a trip to India.  Yes!  I accepted.

The next day as I am out running, it occurs to me I am now driving a brand new car! WOW!  I loved it!  It fit a lot of what I had scripted for in my new car...fun to drive, totally paid for, (this one didn't cost me a cent), got great gas mileage, comfy seats, totally reliable, etc.  In fact, it had Sirius radio and an Ipod dock, something I had not even written on my list, but I totally enjoyed and you bet it's on my list now.

Each night as I lay down to go to sleep, I could truthfully say, I'm driving a brand new car and it's out in my driveway right this minute.

Now you may be pointing out that it's only for 11 days, you may point out that it wasn't my color, etc., and while those may indeed be facts at the moment. I know facts can change in an instant.

I chose to celebrate the closeness of the match.  The Universe is on it.  My Honda is getting fixed and my new auto, which is a perfect match, is on it's way. Closer than they've ever been before. I get goosebumps just thinking about it.

Celebrating the closeness of the match feels good.  It feels fun.  I get totally excited knowing there are Infinite Possibilities for my desires to show up and that's what it's all about.  Finding a way to feel good now.

Just yesterday, Sweetie and I were strolling down the street and I was describing my new ideal home by the ocean, and that I had just started visualizing the "end result" as me sitting in the sand at the beach, feeling the sand and shells beside me while watching the sunset.  When I look over into the shop window we are passing, and all along the windowsill were dozens of sea shells!

I see it as sorta like sitting in a restaurant after I've placed my order.  I may not be eating yet, but the aroma is in the air.  It's on it's way.

Have you ever celebrated the closeness of the match?  I would love to hear all about it and celebrate with you.

Love and Luck,
Lucky Lady

Feeling Overwhelmed?

Have you ever had one those days where you feel totally overwhelmed?

Maybe it was one of those weeks?  You know the kind. When you have your to do list, and/or your goals all lined up, you're taking action, and nothing goes according to plan?

I have and it definitely doesn't feel good.

So I thought I would share with you ten things I did that helped to shift my vibration out of overwhelment.

Here's how Abraham defines it and just reading this definition began the shift for me.

"Overwhelment: The state of simultaneously focusing upon what you want and your inability to achieve it at the same time."
Ask and It Is Given
  1. First, I wrote out everything I was believing about why I thought I was unable to achieve what I wanted. This brought up some old hidden beliefs and I decided to change those, right then and there.
  2. Then I did some EFT tapping to clear out the feeling of overwhelment and the negative feelings that accompanied the old beliefs.
  3. I got quiet and did some meditation.
  4. I asked some questions like:What would it take to change this?  Where am I refusing or disallowing other possibilities? What if it all works out? What if it turns out better than I can imagine? What if the entire Universe wants to support me?
  5. I called on the Angels and my Spirit guides to assist in whatever way was best.
  6. I playfully practiced "Wouldn't it be nice if...?"
  7. I scripted it all out as if it had already happened and how wonderful that felt.
  8. I read my daily list of all the lucky things that had happened this past week and affirmed "I live an amazing, miraculous, lucky life". I expect good things and I receive them." "I was born lucky!".
  9. Surrendered it all over to the Universe in Faith.
  10. Decided to "act as if" it was all a done deal.
Wow, that worked for me, I am feeling good now. I feel like I really was born Lucky!

What do you do to shift when you feel overwhelmed?  I would love to know.
Feel free to share what works for you.

Love and Luck,
Lucky Lady

Christmas in July

Christmas in July.

I had heard the phrase before and just thought it was an excuse for a summer sale at various retail shops.

But this past week, when I turned on my cable TV music channel, looking for some music to listen to, out of curiosity I check out 'sounds of the season' and discover they are celebrating Christmas in July.

I did not know that celebrating Christmas in July is actually a tradition in the southern hemisphere, (Australia, South Africa, etc), because of the desire to celebrate Christmas and enjoy some traditional holiday celebrations during their cold, snowy season.

If you've read my post on How I Won a Trip to Las Vegas , you'll know I love Christmas music. It's my favorite part of the holiday season and I have numerous records, cassettes, and CD's to prove it. Although I usually only listen to them in November and December.

Anyway, this past Sunday, after a three mile run in the misty rain, which felt wonderful, while sitting on the floor cross legged, enjoying my breakfast of wheat flakes and fresh sliced strawberries, out of a Christmas bowl, while listening to Christmas music on the tv, I was aware of feeling really happy, of feeling good now.

And that's the key.  Find ways to feel good now.

"You cannot have a happy ending to an unhappy journey."
Abraham

On our journey from where we are now to where we want to be, one of our primary goals is to find ways to feel good now

This means not waiting until we have the relationship, the body, the home, or the job we desire before we can feel good.

What we are feeling now, is an indication of how we will feel then.

Feeling good is personal.  Everyone is different. What makes one person feel good, can make another miserable.

Maybe running in the rain and celebrating Christmas in July, is not your idea of a good time.

What is?  It's your choice, and so is feeling good.  We can choose to find ways of feeling good in every moment no matter what is going on around us.

Feeling good creates more experiences of feeling good.

If you are celebrating Christmas in July, I wish you a very Merry Christmas!

Love and Luck,
Lucky Lady

Am I a Loser?

Have you ever known what you wanted, set your intention, gotten into alignment, been feeling like it's a done deal, and then nothing turned out like you wanted?

Well, that happened to me last week.

It all started a couple months ago when I heard the announcement that Elton John was coming to a town near me.  I instantly wanted to go.

Elton John studio album released April 1970

If you've been following my blog, you must realize by now, I love, love, love a good concert.

I have had some really wonderful experiences, such as the Steve Miller Band concert, been backstage to meet Bobby Caldwell, went on board the New Riders tour bus, got to attend the Willie Nelson concert for free, just to name a few.

So, I set my intentions, that I wanted to go, I wanted it to be easy, fun, and affordable.  Of course the local radio station started giving away free tickets but you had to listen between 6 and 10 am.  Getting up at 6 am did not feel like inspired action to me but I did listen from around 8 to 10.  Each time I heard the cue, I dialed, but all I got was the busy signal every day, all the way to Friday which was the last day they were giving away tickets.  I didn't let that shift me out of my alignment.  I just kept thinking, lots can happen.

On Saturday afternoon, they suddenly announced out of the blue, the 10th caller would win tickets.  Wow, another opportunity just for me.  I started dialing.  Nothing, zero, zip, busy, busy, busy.

I could just see myself on the front row, watching Elton John play the piano, feeling the vibration of the music, feel my Sweetie's hand in mine as we listened to "Your Song".  There was still three more days before the show, the Universe had plenty of time.

I  decided on Monday I would check the status of available tickets on Ticketmaster.  Unless I wanted to be behind the stage, (a lot different than being backstage), which I did not, or if I wanted to pay a princely sum to be in the nosebleed section, which I did not, it did not look promising. Once again, I chose to remember what I wanted and how it would feel, and trust it would happen. That felt good.

On Monday afternoon, the radio announced that Tuesday morning if you were the 10th caller when you heard two Elton John songs back to back, you would win FRONT ROW SEATS.  I was totally thrilled.  This was it.  The Universe was going to give me exactly what I wanted.  It was a good thing I had gotten the busy signal before. See, it was all working out perfectly.

Once again, I decided not to get up at 6 am. Instead, I felt that I should just tune in whenever I woke up and it would be the right time.

On Tuesday morning, I turned on my radio somewhere around 9 am, just in time to hear the announcer say be the 10th caller for Elton John tickets.  I started dialing.  Busy again.  The DJ announced the winner. It was A. Miller.  Sound familiar?  A. Miller, the same, the one and only, the guy that won the Las Vegas Trip!

I turned off my radio. As I stood there I wondered. Was the Universe having a laugh at my expense?  This was just too "coincidental" to be a coincidence.  I decided right then and there, the Universe was giving me a sign that I would be seeing Elton John, up close and personal. Just keep the faith.  I decided to go on about my usual morning routine. Setting my intentions for the day, writing in my journal, saying some feel good affirmations, and visualizing before getting ready for the day.

When suddenly I had the urge to turn the radio back on.  The last few notes of Elton John's "Your Song" were fading away, and "Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting", came on.  There it was!  The two Elton John songs back to back!  I hadn't missed out on those front row seats after all.  I started dialing, I knew this was it.

Busy, busy, busy.  The DJ announced, "Kathy, has just won front row seats to see Elton John."

I couldn't believe it. I didn't win?  Kathy? My name is Kathleen and I have been called Kathy plenty of times. What? First A. Miller, now Kathy?

I must admit for the first few minutes I allowed myself to feel totally disappointed. How could this be? Was I fooling myself about being in alignment? It didn't feel like it.  I was feeling good, but I hadn't won.

Now I could have chosen to be upset, to feel like a loser, declare that life is unfair, the odds are against me, it's all rigged, why did I bother, to feel cheated, make this my new story, etc.

But I am a powerful, deliberate, creator.  I know that in every moment I am either attracting what I want, or pushing it away.

Here is what Abraham says:

"Deliberate creation is about finding a way to look at what is in a way that pleases you.  It's finding a way to emotionally feel different than your current circumstances seem to dictate."

So, did I lose? Not at all. I choose to believe I am a winner.  I choose to celebrate how close I have gotten so far, and to believe there is another wonderful, magical, concert experience on it's way to me, even now. That it doesn't always show up exactly when we want it to, but it will show up as long as I stay in alignment. That is the Law. I choose to keep the faith and know the Universe knows how to deliver and when to deliver.

When I look at it this way, it pleases me.  It feels good now.  Woohoo!

Love and luck,
Lucky Lady

FREE Willie!!!

Have I mentioned that I love going to concerts?

Have I  mentioned that I love Willie Nelson? Yes, it's true.  I do indeed love going to concerts and I have been to several Willie Nelson concerts, and I have loved every one.
Willie Nelson signing an album for my Sweetie.

So when I saw the announcement in the paper a few months ago, that Willie would be playing in my hometown, I immediately declared to my Sweetie, I want to go and I would love to get some free tickets. His reply was, "Sounds good to me, let's go."

Right then and there, I set my intention to go see Willie Nelson.  I also wanted it to be easily affordable, or free.

As the weeks went by, I heard of a couple radio stations giving away tickets but getting up every morning at 6:20 am, did not feel like inspired action to me.  So I just kind of let it go.  Every now and then, I would see ads for the show, and as the day of the concert drew nearer I looked up the tickets, and the prices, but it wasn't really in my budget to spend $180 on tickets.

Each morning I set my intentions for the day, and how I would love for it to go, and the morning of the Willie Nelson concert was no different.  I thought about how much I would enjoy going, and how I would love for it to be easy to get some good seats, and that I would  love for it to be free.

Later that afternoon, my Sweetie texted me to ask if we were going to go see Willie.  I thought about it for a moment, knowing I really wanted to go, but really didn't have the extra money, then I decided to go anyway, basing my decision on doing what feels good, and going to see Willie, felt good to me.

So I told my Sweetie to come pick me up and we would go to the box office and see what kind of tickets we could get.  Who knows, all things are possible.

We arrived at the venue about 15 minutes before showtime and easily found a free parking space less than half a block away, right on the street.  Wow, that was miracle, in itself.

There were three lines of people buying tickets at the box office, so we got in one, and I have to admit, as I stood there, in line, with less than ten minutes to showtime, it occurred to me the good seats could all be sold out.  I immediately replaced that thought with one that felt better.  I just got a great parking space, for free, it's possible I can get a great seat.

When we stepped up to the window, I asked the cashier were there any tickets left on the floor.  She pointed out the section and said they were $80 each.  (at least we would save $20 in fees, buying them at the window)

As I began to reach into my purse, the cashier looked at us, then got up, walked across the room, and when she came back to the window, she slid two tickets under the glass and said, "Here are two tickets, they are on the floor, and they are FREE.  A man left them earlier and said to give them to someone."

Showing off my FREE Willie tickets.

We were totally thrilled and excited!

California Dreaming...Does anyone really win sweepstakes?

Does anyone really win sweepstakes? Yes, they really do!

I am one of the lucky grand prize winners and here is how it all started for me.

Early one morning in 2006 as I was getting some new tires put on my car, I sat in the waiting room glancing through a magazine, when an article about a lady that had won a lot of sweepstakes caught my eye.  My first thought was, does anyone really win those things?

The article talked about a lady that called herself the "Contest Queen" that had won lots of great prizes like a shopping spree, a new automobile, and lots of great trips.  Sounded interesting, so I ordered a copy of her book and read it.

I was so inspired, that I decided to subscribe to a sweepstakes newsletter.

When my newsletter arrived I was amazed at all the wonderful prizes being given away.

I immediately set my goal to win a trip to California.  I have always wanted to go to California.

A caricature I drew.
I immediately started entering sweepstakes every week and it wasn't long before I was winning smaller prizes like gift cards, running shoes, t-shirts, etc.

I continued entering each week and finally, it happened!  Just two days before my birthday, on July 9th, 2009, a FedEx envelope arrived.  My entry had been chosen as a Grand Prize Winner!

It was the Smucker's Stars On Ice Sweepstakes and I could choose a trip to any city on the tour, and take up to five people with me.

I chose to go to Los Angeles.  Woo hoo!  California, here we come!

Smucker's put us up in the Roosevelt Hotel on Hollywood Blvd. My daughter and I have always been ice skating fans, and we were so excited to meet Olympic Gold Medalist Evan Lysacek.

At the Griffith Observatory with the famous Hollywood sign in the background.
We all loved California so much that we didn't want to leave.  In fact, we all decided we wanted to live there.

“Once you make a decision, the universe conspires to make it happen.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson

In August 2012, my daughter actually realized that goal. You can read her story here.  California Move

It's always amazing to me, how one decision, one small action, leads to another, and another, and can eventually lead to huge change.

Back then I was new to the law of attraction and didn't really know how to vibrationally align with my goals.

It was three years from the time I set my goal to win a trip to California, until I won.  It only took me three months when I won the trip to Las Vegas.

There is a three step process for manifesting I've learned, and it is:
  • Intention (set the intention for what you want)
  • Attention (give the goal focused attention)
  • No tension (let it go, feel as good now as if you already had it, trust the Universe to bring it about)
I was really good at the first two steps, the third step,  "no tension" is where my manifestation got held up, but as you can see in my second win, I am learning.

Are you ready to manifest your goals? As your coach, I can assist and support you in setting your Intention, giving it Attention, then focusing on No tension, and finding ways to feel good now.

Have you ever used this process?  What did you manifest? Share your manifestation in the comments below.

Until next time,
Love and Luck,
