Does anyone remember Amway?

A few weeks ago, I was thinking about reordering some of my vitamins and all of a sudden I thought of, or tried to think of, that company that was all the rage back in the 80's, and when I say "the rage" I mean, it seemed like everyone was talking about their products and/or was an authorized distributor.

Back to my story, when I thought of them, I just couldn't recall the name of the company, no matter how hard I tried.  I even asked a few people and got a few strange looks.  No one could tell me their name. Periodically, throughout the day, I kept trying to remember it. Who knows why, have you ever done that?

As I have mentioned before, my Sweetie and I enjoy watching older movies, and we were currently trying to watch the various movies starring Bill Murray. We had ordered a copy of one called, Quick Change, and the mailman delivered the DVD I had ordered, that same day.

I sent Sweetie a message and told him our movie had arrived and we made plans to watch it that evening.

Sweetie sent me another message telling me that the bank, just two blocks from my shop, was currently being held up. The whole block was surrounded and barricaded.  It was biggest excitement in town in years!

So that evening, after dinner, we start watching our movie, Quick Change, which is about three people robbing a bank! (Bill Murray's character being one of them).  How's that for synchronicity?

Then, the character played by Geena Davis, suddenly mentions Amway.

I got so excited.  The very information I was trying to remember, all day long, and there it was, in the movie.  I asked Sweetie, does Amway even exist anymore?  Are there still Amway distributors?  I hadn't heard anything of them since I was a teenager. Of course I didn't really need the answer, I was just curious.

Three days later as I am on my way to my shop, a car pulls up beside me at a light.  I look over, and low and behold, there on the side of the car is one of those magnetic signs advertising Amway!
Once again, it just goes to show, that whenever we give pure thought to something, anything, whether wanted or not wanted, important or trivial, the Universe begins manifesting it in our reality.

What a wonderful power we have to manifest our desires. I love it!

Until next time.
